Sub Inspector arrested red-handed for bribery



JANAKPUR: A Sub Inspector of Nepal Police has been arrested red-handed with bribe money.

A team from the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) arrested Sub Inspector Kalicharan Panjiyar red-handed with Rs 15,000 kickback.

Panjiyar was deployed at Police Post, Yagyabhumi.

CIAA team arrested him red-handed from Mithila Municipality-6, Dhalkebar Chowk.

He has been accused of demanding bribe from a service seeker assuring of settling a case.

Panjiyar has been taken to CIAA head office in Kathmandu for further action.
