EC calls for party registration for NA election

KATHMANDU: The Election Commission has called upon the parties for registration for the election to the post of National Assembly member to be held on January 23, 2020.

The EC has issued an appeal to the parties interested in taking part in the elections to be registered as per Clause 48 of Political Party Act, 2073 and in accordance with Article 271 of the Constitution.

The election is being held for the post of one-third members of the National Assembly that will fall vacant.
