KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has extended best wishes to all sisters and brothers at home and abroad on the occasion of the 71st International Human Rights Day.
In a message of best wishes today, the President has said that while enjoying our human rights we should also be cautious towards our duties as well as national independence, sovereignty, territorial integrity and national unity.
Our Constitution has guaranteed the protection, promotion and effective implementation of globally-recognized human rights, the President has said in the message, while expressing happiness over the active involvement of various agencies for the promotion and fulfillment of human rights.
“I wish the concerned sides get success in guaranteeing the shared rights of human being by embracing its letter and spirit as well as get further encouragement to work in this sector”, reads the message issued by the Office of the President.
