Nepali embassy in Doha urges travelers to obtain tourist visa when returning via Saudi Arabia



DOHA: The Nepali Embassy in Doha has urged Nepali nationals residing in Qatar to obtain a tourist visa if they plan to return to Nepal via Saudi Arabia following recent developments in the Middle East.

According to the embassy, Nepali citizens must apply for the visa by booking an advance appointment through the Tasheer Saudi Visa Service Center in Doha.

The service center is located at Ezdan Mall Al Gharrafa, the embassy said.

The embassy stated that Nepali nationals holding a valid residence permit (Qatar ID) and planning to return to Nepal using airports in Saudi Arabia must obtain a Saudi tourist visa before traveling.

For further information, applicants can contact the visa service center at 50660622.

The embassy has also urged Nepali travelers planning to transit through Saudi airports to complete the required documentation and visa procedures in advance before undertaking their journey.
