Minister Aryal seeks conducive environment for women



BIRENDRANAGAR: Minister for Land Management, Cooperative and Poverty Alleviation, Padma Aryal has emphasized creating an environment conducive for women to compete in elections.

Interacting with women politicians in Birendranagar today, Minister Aryal stressed the need for making the election more decent.

She also expressed her concerns about the use of ethical and unethical means such as muscle and money to secure victory in the election.

She emphasized equal participation of all in the election.

“The existing system has created hurdles for women to contest the polls,” she said calling for moving ahead by institutionalizing the achievements of women’s movement.
