Pakistan supports Gyanodaya Secondary School with new computer lab



KATHMANDU: Pakistan has constructed a new computer laboratory for Gyanodaya Secondary School in Bafal, Kathmandu. Pakistan’s Ambassador to Nepal, Abrar H. Hashmi, officially inaugurated the facility on Saturday.

Speaking at the event, Ambassador Hashmi said the school has achieved sustainable educational progress through the active involvement of its leadership, teachers, and the local community.

He emphasized the importance of exploring opportunities in information and communication technology, artificial intelligence, and innovation to enhance learning outcomes.

According to a press release issued by the Pakistani Embassy, the inauguration program was attended by former Governor Dipendra Bahadur Chhetri, School Management Committee Chair Ram Babu Koirala, Ward Chair of Kathmandu Metropolitan City-13 Dhruba Narayan Manandhar, District Education Coordination Unit Chief Samanta Mani Acharya, and school principal Bishnu Ghimire.

Pakistan has been supporting the school’s computer lab since 2013 by providing furniture, computers, and other necessary equipment.
