KATHMANDU: Minister for Education, Science, and Technology Mahabir Pun has issued a four-point directive to the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) for immediate implementation.
Minister Pun, who also serves as the chairperson of the council, has instructed the preparation of a blueprint to reform the existing curriculum by incorporating innovation. The blueprint must be submitted by mid-October.
He has also directed the council to develop an integrated academic calendar and ensure that examination results are published within three months.
Additionally, a dedicated section should be established at the council office to receive, record, and address complaints from students, parents, and teachers. This mechanism should be operational immediately.
Finally, all applications for affiliation received since 2069 BS should be thoroughly reviewed, and a report submitted by mid-October. Based on the findings, a decision must be made promptly on whether to grant or deny affiliation.
