Grade 12 results to be published this week

KATHMANDU: The results of the Grade 12 examinations are set to be released within the next few days.

The National Examination Board (NEB) is preparing to publish the results for the academic year 2081 this week. Board Chairperson Mahashram Sharma stated that the results will be made public within three to four days.

“We are preparing to announce the Grade 12 results within three to four days,” Sharma said. “Efforts are underway to publish the results as soon as possible.”

The Grade 12 examinations were held from May 4 to May 16, with a total of 511,525 students participating. Of them, 395,908 appeared as regular candidates, while 115,617 took the exam under the partial category.

Although the board had initially planned to conduct the examinations from April 24, the schedule was postponed by 10 days due to protests by the Teachers’ Federation.

Grade 12 is regarded as the final examination at the school level in Nepal.
