Gold price falls by Rs 400 per tola



KATHMANDU: The price of gold, which fell by Rs 2,900 per tola on Sunday, declined by a further Rs 400 per tola on Monday.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Federation, gold is being traded at Rs 291,500 per tola today, down from Rs 291,900 per tola on Sunday.

The price of gold had increased by Rs 1,500 per tola on Friday to reach Rs 294,800. Earlier, the price had fallen by Rs 8,800 per tola on Monday and Tuesday of last week.

Meanwhile, the price of silver also declined by Rs 60 per tola on Monday to Rs 4,330.
