Bus caught in a traffic jam, patient dies

DHADING: The traffic snarls along the Naubise-Nagdhunga section of the road caused the death of a patient on Friday.

The deceased has been identified as 35-year-old Rulpal Sah of Rautahat.

Sah, a kidney patient, was traveling in a Kathmandu-bound bus Na 7 Kha 5364 for treatment.

Police said he died near Thakre of Dhading in his mother’s lap inside the bus.

Normally, it takes not more than two hours to reach Kalanki of Kathmandu from Dhading.

However, travel time has significantly increased due to the repair works of the road.

It takes more than 10 hours to travel the same distance.
