BAITADI: An earthquake measuring 4.4 in the Richter scale was recorded in the hilly districts of the Sudur-Paschim State this night.

The epicenter of the quake recorded at 8:18 pm was around the Nepal-India bordering Suba region, according to seismologist Dipak Basnet at the Seismological Centre, Surkhet.

The earthquake was felt in Baitedi, Darchula, Bajhang, Dadeldhura and other districts in the State.
