KALIKOT: A person died in a truck accident in Narharinath Rural Municipality of Kalikot district.
Gung Deuba, 45, from Narharinath-5 Rupsa, Karnali Province, lost his life in a truck accident last night while returning from Narharinath-8 Lalu Village, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police Tek Bahadur Rawat.
Police reported that Deuba, who was injured in the accident, died while being transported to the district headquarters in Manma for treatment.
He had been pulled out from the cliff by the police after the truck, which had fallen about 200 meters off the road, was located. The driver of the truck managed to jump out and survive.
