Body of elderly man found in Janakpur, police investigating murder



KATHMANDU: The body of an elderly man, believed to be around 60 years old, was discovered on Thursday night in the premises of Durga Temple in Janakpurdham Sub-metropolitan City-4.

According to the police, the man was struck by a brick on his head. Police claim the man used to beg for food and sleep near the temple at night.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the man was murdered at the location where he had been resting.

Police have formed a team, including sniffer dogs, to further investigate the case.
