KATHMANDU: Lalitpur Metropolitan City, local wards, residents, and Nepal Police have begun clearing the garbage accumulated along the riverbanks after floods caused by continuous rainfall on Ashwin 11 and 12.

This morning, cleanup efforts focused on the Bagmati River, Nakkhu River, and rivers in the Balkumari area.
