PM Oli calls Cabinet meeting

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister (PM) KP Oli has called a cabinet meeting scheduled for 5:30 pm on Monday.

According to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, the meeting will take place at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers at Singha Durbar.

The agenda has not yet been disclosed.

However, it is anticipated that discussions will focus on the ordinance related to political parties, as Prime Minister Oli has begun talks with the Nepali Congress and other parties regarding this matter.

In the previous cabinet meeting held last Friday, a recommendation committee was established for the formation of a transitional truth-telling and reconciliation commission, as well as an investigation commission on disappearances.

Additionally, the cabinet decided to provide free treatment for burn victims.
