Dengue fever claims woman



DOTI: A woman has died of dengue fever in the district in Far-west Province. The deceased has been identified as 42-year-old Chhatra Malasi alias ‘Chhaya’ of Dipayal Silgadhi Municipality-6.

Chhaya had been hospitalized at Mayametro Hospital in Kailali for treatment after she complained of severe headache and fever some weeks ago.

Fear has gripped locals after Chhaya died of dengue fever.  She was suffering from dengue and scrub typhus, said Dr Bishnu Joshi of Mayametro Hospital.
