Indian External Minister Jaishankar visits Pashupatinath Temple

KATHMANDU: External Affairs Minister of India S Jaishankar has visited Pashupatinath Temple, a holy temple for Hindus, on Thursday morning.

Visiting Minister Jaishankar was accompanied by Indian Ambassador for Nepal Manjeev Singh Puri and other officials, according to Govinda Shah, program officer at Indian Embassy in Kathmandu.

Member Secretary of the Pashupati Development Trust Pradeep Dhakal offered guidance during their trip to the temple.

Minister Jaishankar will head to Shital Niwas to pay a courtesy call on President Bidya Devi Bhandari after the Pashupatinath visit.

He will return home at 3:35 pm today.
