NA endorses Bill on CITES -2075

KATHMANDU: The National Assembly on Thursday passed the ‘Bill on Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) (first amendment)-2075’.

The Bill presented by Minister for Forest and Environment, Shakti Bahadur Basnet, was passed unanimously.

The HoR had sent the bill to the NA with some amendments. Likewise, NA Secretary, Rajendra Phuyal tabled the ‘Bill designed to amend some Nepal Acts-2075’ received from the HoR. The NA will meet again on February 15.
