21 gamblers land in police net

KATHMANDU: Police have arrested 21 gamblers from Dhapakhel of Lalitpur Metropolitan City-23.

According to police, 12 gamblers were held with Rs 840,000 in cash, a pack of play cards and cowries from Room no. 510 of Downtown Apartment of Ranjit Maharjan.

Similarly, police arrested nine gamblers including Rudra Malla from Sahapati Chowk of  Kawasoti Municipality, Nawalparasi East.

Police also seized Rs 81, 765 from the gambling den.
