Biplav outfit leader Mohan Karki released



KATHMANDU:  Biplav outfit leader Mohan Karki, who was doing time in custody, has been released. Police released him on Sunday.

Following the ban on the Biplav outfit by the government, police had arrested Mohan Karki and Hemanta Prakash Oli. Karki had been arrested on March 15, 2019 on the charge of misdemeanor.

“Karki was released two days ago at the direction of Kathmandu Chief District Officer,” said Uttam Raj Subedi, in-charge of Metropolitan Police Range, Kathmandu.
