Nepali missing teenage girls found in India



KATHMANDU: Two teenage girls who went missing since July 30 from Birtamod Municipality-4, Jhapa, have been found in Purniya of India.

According to DSP Mohan Thapa of Area Police Office, Anarmuni, 16-year-old Puja and Pujan Sah, 14, have been found in Purniya of India. Students of Glory English School, Puja and Pujan, who had left for school, went out of contact a week ago.

Acting on a tip-off by their parents, police had started searching for the missing girls.

Interpol Nepal had contacted Interpol of India after they were tracked down in Lucknow, India with the help of a mobile they were carrying. The missing girls are siblings.
