Sunsari DAO issues prohibitory orders in two rural municipalities



SUNSARI: The District Administration Office (DAO) Sunsari has implemented prohibitory orders in Harinagara and Devanjgunj rural municipalities, effective from 12 pm on Friday.

In a notice released on Friday afternoon, the Sunsari DAO announced the imposition of prohibitory orders in all wards of Devanjgunj and Harinagara rural municipalities to prevent potential violence between two religious communities.

“In order to ensure the safety of human lives and public property, and in accordance with Section 6 of the Local Administration Act 2028, all forms of gatherings, protests, and mass assemblies in all wards of Devanjgunj and Harinagara municipalities have been indefinitely prohibited starting from 12 pm on Friday,” stated the notice issued by Acting Chief District Officer Vedraj Phuyal.
