It’s noteworthy that a total of 33 individuals have obtained permission to ascend four different mountains, apart from Mt. Everest, to date.

The DoT has initiated the issuance of mountaineering permits for the spring mountaineering season, as confirmed by the Department.

Among these, four climbers have secured permission to scale Mt. Ama Dablam, five for Himlung, one for Jugal, and 24 for Mt. Annapurna.

The Department has facilitated online booking arrangements for mountaineers interested in climbing.
