Woman dies while picking up charging mobile phone



BIRTAMOD, JHAPA: One person died due to a short circuit while picking up a charged mobile phone in Gaurigunj-1, Tunu Basti, Jhapa.

55-year-old Sila Budhathoki died on Friday.

According to the police, Budhathoki got electrocuted while receiving a phone while she tried to receive the phone which was charging.

Further investigation is underway in this regard, the police said.
