District Court dismisses Bhuvan KC’s case against actress Samragyi Rana

KATHMANDU: Kathmandu District Court has concluded that actor Bhuvan KC’s ‘defamation’ case filed against actress Samragyi Rajyalaxmi Rana lacks enough ground for the claim made by KC.

The Court ruled that the claim was not valid in the defamation case filed by actor KC on 16 July 2020 against actress Shah.

Three years ago, the celebrities duo Bhuvan and Samragyi had been exchanging accusations on social media and social media. Samragyi accused Bhuvan of exploiting and abusing her. Bhuvan also expressed his anger to the empress by saying that she had eaten on the same plate.

Such a dispute between Samragyi and Bhuvan flared up in the nepotism debate that was going on in the background of the late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. In the same dispute, Bhuvan filed a case demanding Rs. 100 million as compensation to the defamation.
