Lightning kills one in Kaski



KASKI: A person has died after being struck by lightning in Pokhara.

The District Police Office, Kaski identified the deceased as Dev Bahadur BK, 49, of Harpan of Pokhara metropolis-23.

He was hit by the lightning as he was about to lock the house door at 11:30 pm last night.

Severely injured, he was pronounced dead in a local hospital at 2:20 am today.

The body has been kept at the Western Regional Hospital, Pokhara Academy of Health Science for post-mortem examinations.
