ACC Men’s Premier Cup: Kuwait to lock horns with Oman for third place

KATHMANDU: Kuwait and Oman are competing for third place of ACC Men’s Premier Cup cricket on Sunday.

The competition between Kuwait, who lost to Nepal, and Oman, who lost to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), is scheduled at TU Cricket Ground, Kirtipur, Kathmandu.

Earlier, chasing a huge winning target of 281 runs for victory, Kuwait lost 6 wickets in 8.3 overs and scored 37 runs, but the match was stopped due to rain. After the match was stopped, Nepal, the Group A winner, entered the finals.

On the other hand, Oman, who is competing for third place, is to face Kuwait after losing to the United Arab Emirates. Oman lost to UAE by 2 runs in the Duckworth-Lewis method and will spend all their hard work for third place.
