Prez Bhandari authenticates 13 bills



KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari on Friday authenticated various 13 bills as per Article 113 (2) of the Constitution of Nepal, it has been said.

The bills reached President Bhandari for the authentication after their passage from both Houses of the Federal Parliament (the National Assembly and the House of Representatives).

The certified bills are- the bill to amend and integrate laws related to the Public Service Commission; the bill related to the allocation and expenditure of funds from the Federal Reserve Fund for service and work for the fiscal year, 2022/23; the bill to amend the loan and guarantee act, 2025; the bill to manage authority to recover national loan, and the bill to implement the proposal related to the finance of the government of Nepal.

The other bills are the ‘Acid and other Hazardous Chemical Substances (Regulation) bill; the bill to amend some acts against sexual violence; the bill to some acts related to criminal offences and criminal procedure; the bill to amend the ‘Nepal Police and Province Police (Operation, Supervision and Coordination) Act’; the bill to amend the ‘Social Security Act, 2075’; the bill to amend the ‘Drug Act, 2035’l; the bill to amend the ‘Security of Health Workers and Health Organisations, 2066’; and the bill to manage railway.
