Ruling coalition top leaders discuss cabinet reshuffle, SPP



KATHMANDU: A meeting of the ruling coalition held at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar discussed cabinet reshuffle and the US’ State Partnership Program (SPP).

It is understood that the meeting of the top leaders discussed the reshuffle of the cabinet meeting and the date of the election.

According to Govinda Pariyar, Press Coordinator to the Prime Minister, the meeting was attended by Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda”, Unified Socialist Chairman Madhav Nepal and Janata Samajwadi Party Chairman Upendra Yadav.

The parties, which have already decided to reshuffle the cabinet after the endorsement of the fiscal budget, have been insisting on a cabinet reshuffle.

The Unified Socialist’s Standing Committee has already approved the decision of the Secretariat to change its ministers in the government.
