Two held with leopard hides

KATHMANDU: Police arrested two persons in possession of leopard hides at Kathmandu Metropolitan City-32, Jadibuti.

Nepal Police headquarters has confirmed that Indra Kumar Tamang, 16, and Raj Kumar Tamang, 17, hailing from Kavre Bhakundebesi were held with hides of spotted leopard on Wednesday.

A police squad from Koteswor-based Metropolitan Police Range arrested the Tamang duo with wild beast body part in the course of security check.

Police said that further investigation into the incident is underway.
