TU commission under fire over irregularities

KATHMANDU: The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has hinted some grave irregularities in the examination conducted by TU Commission.

The anti-graft body had launched investigation into the case following a complaint that TU office bearers gave undue preference to their kin during the selection of candidacies.

“We have found some evidences of irregularities. We are looking into the additional facts. We will  come up with a conclusion at the earliest,” said Pradip Koirala, spokesperson of the CIAA.

A case had been filed at the CIAA accusing the TU Commission of passing only those relatives of high ranking officials of TU, student leaders,  leaders of TU Employees Association,a news in Kantipuir daily said.
