Prohibitory order extended in Surkhet until May 14



SURKHET: With the increasing cases of COVID-19, the District Administration Office, Surkhet has extended the prohibitory in the district by 10 days.

The District Administration Office, Surkhet clamped the order effective from Tuesday midnight until the midnight of May 14 on the recommendation of the District COVID-19 Crisis Management Center (DCCMC).

Earlier, the prohibitory order had been imposed from April 27 to the midnight of May 4.

If the order is violated, the violator will be jailed for a month along with a fine of Rs 100, said Chief District Officer Chhabi Lal Rijal.

Vegetable, fruit, grocery and medical shops will open from 6 to 9 am.

The local administration allows a gathering of 10 people for performing wedding ceremonies, funeral rites and other rituals.
