Three killed in road accident



RUPANDEHI: A youth died in a motorcycle accident that took place today in Sakhuwani in ward no. 15 of Tilottatma municipality-15, Rupandehi.

Motorcycle rider Kamal Prakash Karki,35, of Om Satiya rural municipality-1, died in the accident, according to Lumbini Provincial Police Office spokesperson Raj Kumar Baidawar.

Likewise, two people died in a collision between a car and tipper truck at Madhuwan municipality, Bardia today. The tipper carrying stones from Chisapani collided with the car (Ba. 16 Cha. 2453) coming from the opposite direction.
In the accident, Surendra Godiya,25, and 18-year-old Nidhi Sunar of Gulariya municipality-4 died, according to DSP at the district police office Yogendra Kumar Khadka.

The car driver Manoj Loniya,25, of Gulariya-4, Kritika Sunar,17, of Mahendranagar and 25-year-old Kamala Sunar of Kanchanpur were seriously injured in the accident. They are undergoing treatment in Nepalgunj, police said.
