Two nabbed for purchasing gold ornaments with fake notes



LALITPUR: Lalitpur Police has arrested two persons accused of using counterfeit currency notes to purchase gold ornaments in Lalitpur.

According to police, Equse Tuladhar 26, of Teku and Ajaya Maharjan 27, of Jyatha Asan have been arrested for the crime.

The police said that they had bought some gold ornaments on September 17 from Jayama Durga Jems and Jewelry House paying counterfeit currency notes.

They had been absconding after the incident.
