KATHMANDU: Deliberations on the annual revenue and expenditure estimates for the Fiscal Year 2020/21 presented by the government today will take place at the House of Representatives on coming May 31 and June 1.

The date was announced by Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota at the HoR meeting today. Earlier, Finance Minister Dr. Yubaraj Khatiwada had tabled a copy of the budget estimates for F/Y 2020/21 at the meeting. He also presented the ‘Finance Bill, 2077.

The HoR will meet next at 11:00 am on May 31.

Likewise, Finance Minister Khatiwada also presented a copy of the budget at the meeting of the National Assembly. NA Chair Ganesh Prasad Timalsena has assigned May 31 and June 1 for discussion on the budget estimates for F/Y 2020/21.

The National Assembly will meet again at 11:30 on May 31.
