KATHMANDU: Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle is scheduled to hold discussions with leading industrialists on Tuesday on the implementation of the national budget.
According to the Finance Minister’s Secretariat, the meeting will take place at the Ministry of Finance at 3:00 pm.
Around three dozen industrialists representing major manufacturing industries that have made significant contributions to Nepal’s economy are expected to participate in the discussion.
The meeting will focus on budget implementation and challenges facing the industrial sector.
Finance Secretary Dr. Ghanshyam Upadhyaya, Industry, Commerce and Supplies Secretary Narayan Prasad Dawadi, and senior officials from key divisions and departments of the Ministry of Finance will also attend the meeting.
