Govt to cut all types of allowances



KATHMANDU: The government has decided to cut all types of allowances in the government offices to maintain frugality.

Presenting the budget for the fiscal year 2020/21 in the parliament today, Finance Minister Yuba Raj Khatiwada said all kinds of allowances including snacks being enjoyed by staffers will be cut off.

According to Khatiwada, this will be effective from the beginning of the upcoming Fiscal Year.

This will apply to staffers associate with the corporation, too.
