“Heartiest wishes to the youngest Prime Minister in Nepali history and the first Prime Minister of Madhesi origin, young engineer Balendra Shah, for a successful tenure,” Bhattarai wrote.
He expressed confidence that Shah would effectively address long-standing structural challenges in the country’s economy and politics, as well as navigate rapidly evolving global geopolitics.
Bhattarai also voiced hope that the new leadership would fulfill the aspirations of the nation and its people in the 21st century.
In his message, he further emphasized that Nepali politics, having undergone a long process of democratization, is entering a new phase focused on good governance and inclusive prosperity. He highlighted the importance of transferring leadership to a younger generation equipped with digital and AI-friendly approaches.
