LALITPUR: Sudan Gurung, a directly elected member of the House of Representatives from Gorkha Constituency-1 representing the Rastriya Swatantra Party, has announced that he will not use government facilities and will spend his parliamentary salary to support those injured in the Gen-Z movement.

Speaking at an orientation program for newly elected RSP lawmakers held in Lalitpur, Gurung said he had entered politics not for personal benefits or privileges but to carry the voices of the people to Parliament.

He stated that he would not use a government vehicle and would not spend his salary for personal purposes. Instead, he said the amount would be used for the health care, education and employment of individuals injured during the Gen-Z protests.

Gurung also pledged to raise the issues highlighted by the movement in Parliament.
