13 arrested with drugs in police operations



KATHMANDU: Thirteen individuals have been arrested with illegal drugs during routine patrols conducted by police in various parts of the country.

According to the Nepal Police, the suspects were apprehended from different districts including Kathmandu, Jhapa, Rupandehi, Sunsari, and Kanchanpur.

Police said they recovered marijuana, brown heroin, and certain medicines that are legally available only with a doctor’s prescription from the arrested individuals. Investigations into the incidents are ongoing.
