RPP Chair Lingden calls for making party a decisive force in Parliament

KATHMANDU: Chairperson of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), Rajendra Lingden, has said that the upcoming elections should establish his party as a decisive force in Parliament.

Addressing a caucus program organized by JCI here today, Lingden said the country’s existing problems require fresh thinking and that his party has been raising its voice for alternative solutions.

He noted that while there is ongoing debate about new versus old forces in politics, evaluation should not be based merely on age, party affiliation, new faces, or first-time candidacy. Instead, he stressed that assessment should be made on the basis of ideas and vision.

Lingden also underscored the need for a new national consensus even before the elections to ensure long-term peace and stability in the country.
