Gold and silver prices decline in domestic market



KATHMANDU: Gold and silver prices declined in the domestic market on Friday, with gold falling by Rs 2,100 per tola and silver dropping by Rs 55 per tola.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold has been fixed at Rs 309,000 per tola, while silver is being traded at Rs 5,230 per tola.

On Thursday, gold was traded at Rs 311,100 per tola and silver at Rs 5,285 per tola. On Wednesday, gold stood at Rs 311,300 per tola, while silver was priced at Rs 5,370 per tola.

In the international market, gold is trading at around US$ 3,443 per ounce, while silver is priced at approximately US$ 35 per ounce.
