Environmental protection a collective responsibility, says Vice President Yadav



KATHMANDU: Vice President Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav has stressed the need to use environment-friendly resources, technologies and practices while reducing harmful emissions and substances to promote a clean environment.

In a message of best wishes on the occasion of World Environment Day 2026, Vice President Yadav said environmental conservation is a collective responsibility and called for a shared commitment to ensure a secure present and a better future.

He cautioned that poor communities, rural populations and farmers are most affected by the impacts of climate change, pollution, biodiversity loss and poor waste management. He urged all stakeholders to work together to address these challenges.
