BHAKTAPUR: Two people were killed and six others injured in a tractor accident in Changunarayan Municipality-8, Kalamsi of Bhaktapur.
According to police, the accident took place last night when a tractor carrying labourers returning to their lodging after completing road slope work met with an accident. District Police Complex Bhaktapur spokesperson DSP Surya Khadka said six others were injured in the incident.
Both deceased are male and have yet to be identified. Police said there were 12 people on board the tractor at the time of the accident. The vehicle reportedly met with the accident due to brake failure.
