Prime Minister Shah calls cabinet meeting

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister (PM) Balendra Shah (Balen) has called a meeting of the cabinet.

The meeting is scheduled to take place at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar at 12 noon on Tuesday. The agenda for the meeting has not been made public.

The development comes at a time when Prime Minister Shah’s recent remarks in the House of Representatives last Sunday, in which he stated that Nepal has also encroached on Indian territory, have drawn widespread criticism.
