Nepal Oil Corporation raises petroleum prices



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has significantly increased the prices of petroleum products.

The Corporation raised the prices of petrol, diesel, kerosene, and aviation fuel, effective from midnight on Friday.

As a result, the price of petrol has increased by Rs 2 per liter, while the price of diesel and kerosene has risen by Rs 4.

Similarly, the price of aviation fuel has been raised by Rs 6 per liter for domestic use and by $43 per kiloliter for international aviation fuel.

With these changes, the price of petrol for the third category, including the Kathmandu Valley, will now be Rs 167 per liter, and the price of diesel and kerosene will be Rs 160 per liter, according to the Corporation.
