KATHMANDU: The Embassy of Pakistan, in collaboration with the Pakistan Nepal Alumni Network (PNAN), organized a free medical camp at Ward No. 4, Nagarjun Municipality, Kathmandu, Nepal, on Saturday.
The event was attended by Dr. Deepak Mishra, President PNAN; Sushila Adhikari, Deputy Mayor of Nagarjun Municipality; Laxmi Ram Sharma, Chairperson of Ward No. 4; along with local dignitaries and volunteers.
Doctors, most of whom are graduates of Pakistani medical institutions, provided healthcare services to local residents, including senior citizens, women, and children. More than 100 patients were examined during the camp. Several patients requiring specialized care were referred to tertiary-level hospitals. Free essential medicines were also distributed.
The Embassy of Pakistan expressed its gratitude to the volunteer physicians of PNAN and the local municipal authorities for their support and cooperation.
Sushila Adhikari, Deputy Mayor of Nagarjun Municipality, extended appreciation to the Embassy of Pakistan and PNAN for organizing the free health camp for the benefit of local residents.
Dr. Deepak Mishra, President of PNAN, commended the efforts of the Embassy of Pakistan in supporting the healthcare sector in Nepal and acknowledged its continued assistance.
