Floods obstruct East-West Highway in Nawalparasi

NAWALPARASI: Floods triggered by continuous rainfall have blocked the East-West Highway in Nawalparasi since last night.

According to police, flooding in several rivers has disrupted road traffic in both eastern and western parts of the district. Roads and diversions have been washed away in at least four locations across the two districts.

While one-way traffic has resumed along the Khorsani Khola section in Nawalparasi West, the highway in Nawalparasi East remains completely blocked.
