Patient Dies after jumping from Seti Provincial Hospital’s fourth floor



KAILALI: A 63-year-old man, Chakra Bahadur Singh, from Godavari Municipality-1, tragically died after jumping from the fourth floor of Seti Provincial Hospital in Kailali on Tuesday afternoon.

Hospital spokesperson Kishor Prasad Shrestha reported that Singh had been admitted to the hospital on Monday due to kidney issues and was undergoing dialysis. After the procedure, he was transferred to the medical ward for further treatment.

Singh’s wife, Ishwari Devi Singh, was present with him at the time. He reportedly told her that he would be back shortly, but shortly afterward, he jumped from the hospital’s fourth floor.

Singh sustained severe injuries throughout his body and passed away during emergency treatment, Shrestha confirmed. The reason for his actions remains unknown.
