BAGLUNG: A man died after being buried by a landslide triggered by incessant rainfall in Tarakhola Rural Municipality-5, Baglung.
Man Bahadur Roka, 59, of Dhasmar, died after a landslide from above his house struck the building and buried him while he was sleeping last night, according to Phanindra Prasai, chief superintendent of police at the District Police Office, Baglung.
Prasai said the house was partially damaged in the incident. Efforts are underway, with the help of local residents, to retrieve Roka’s body from the debris.
